By creating an account with EstimateIQ, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you (the contractor) and EstimateIQ.
EstimateIQ provides an AI-powered estimating widget that contractors embed on their websites. The widget allows homeowners to receive ballpark pricing estimates and book service appointments. EstimateIQ is a lead generation and scheduling tool only.
All estimates generated by the EstimateIQ widget are approximate starting-point ranges based on national averages and the pricing you configure. Estimates shown to homeowners are NOT binding quotes and do NOT constitute a contract between you and the homeowner. Final pricing is always determined at the time of diagnosis and confirmed with the homeowner before any work begins. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of pricing you configure and for honoring your own service contracts with homeowners.
You are responsible for: (a) the accuracy of pricing information you configure in the platform; (b) all service agreements and contracts with homeowners; (c) ensuring estimates comply with applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction; (d) all licensing, insurance, and bonding requirements for your contracting business; (e) the quality of service provided to homeowners.
EstimateIQ offers a 30-day free trial with no credit card required. After the trial period, a monthly subscription fee applies. Founding members who sign up during the initial launch period are locked in at the founding rate as long as they maintain an active subscription. Subscriptions are processed through Stripe. You may cancel at any time. No refunds are issued for partial months. The widget deactivates if the trial ends without a valid payment method on file or if the subscription is cancelled.
EstimateIQ collects and processes customer contact information submitted through the widget on your behalf. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the platform complies with applicable privacy laws including the TCPA for SMS communications. See our Privacy Policy for details.
By using the SMS notification features, you authorize EstimateIQ to send SMS messages to homeowners on your behalf for appointment confirmation and reminders. You represent that homeowners have consented to receive such communications. Standard messaging rates may apply to recipients.
EstimateIQ is not liable for any disputes between contractors and homeowners arising from estimates, pricing, or service quality. EstimateIQ's total liability shall not exceed the fees paid in the prior three months. The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
EstimateIQ reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or are used in ways that harm homeowners.
